Towards Hydrogen in Wielkopolska
Hydrogen-powered buses to be used in the next two years. In addition, eastern Wielkopolska plans to be a zero-emission region until 2040. This is, in a nutshell, how the transformation of the region is to look like. Its key element is to be hydrogen. What is needed for this strategy to work?
“You need money, technology, but most of all the law. We already have a local strategy prepared, but to be able to implement it, we need legal solutions at the national level, which we are waiting for all the time”, said Jacek Bogusławski, President of the Wielkopolska Hydrogen Platform and Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region, during the Impact’21 congress on MTP Poznań Expo fairgrounds.
Bogusławski also announced the creation of an entity modelled on the Wielkopolska Hydrogen Valley.
