Thanks to his practical experience in international projects, he has expertise in areas such as safety, quality, and certification of Offshore O&G, Offshore Wind, H₂, FLNG, LNG, FSRU and alternative fuels.
Slawomir is a key member of various industry organizations and actively contributes to the development of the offshore wind sector in Poland.

Michał Banaszak graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz University in 1985. He received his PhD degree in Physics in 1991 from Memorial University in Canada. From 1992 to 1995 he worked as postdoctoral fellow in Exxon Research & Engineering Co. in USA, working on polymer solutions. From 1995 to 1997 he worked in the Chemistry Department of UMIST in Manchester, UK, specializing in ionic copolymers. In 1997 he joined the Adam Mickiewicz University, obtaining his habilitation in Soft Matter Physics and Computer Simulations, and later the professorship in Physics. His main interest is in developing new models and theories for nanoscale self-assembly of various polymer systems. She has been active in the Sector Competence Council of the Raw Materials Recovery Sector, where she served as deputy chairman. She is the author of numerous publications in the fields of recycling, waste, sustainable development and, above all, the closed-loop economy. As an expert, she participates in consultations and opinions on legislation, strategies, plans related to waste management in the broadest sense.

Director of the Energy and Technology Industry Office at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. He specialises in valuations, strategic analysis and M&A. He has expert knowledge of the energy market. To his credit, he has also appeared on panels at numerous energy conferences as well as published in trade journals. Throughout his career he has held both expert and managerial roles. He has worked both in strategic state-owned companies (such as PGE or KGHM) as well as in Big4 consulting firms. He holds a degree in Quantitative Methods and Information Systems from the Warsaw School of Economics.
He was in the team preparing the pre-feasibility study for 1 nuclear power plant for PGE (financial analyses, business model, risks). Subsequently, on behalf of both KGHM and PGE, he was co-responsible for financial analyses related to nuclear power plant construction and cooperation with advisors in tasks related to updating technical assumptions and financial analyses related to support.
He has successfully passed 3 examinations required for the CFA title. He holds the state distinction "Meritorious for the Polish Energy Sector".

the Department of Environmental Management and Climate, the Department of Environmental Affairs and Information and the Department of Sport and Tourism.
A councillor of the Wielkopolska Region. An MBA graduate - energy and climate policy management.
Since 2019, he has been the Chairman of the Wielkopolska Hydrogen Platform, it is
a platform for exchanging experiences and initiating activities to build the economic potential of Wielkopolska, allowing it to achieve the status of a leader with respect to the economy related to the use of hydrogen technologies.
He is one of the initiators of signing the Declaration to create the Wielkopolska Hydrogen Valley, enabling the creation of a coordinated and integrated ecosystem of connections supporting the development of technology, knowledge, business and education, contributing to the decarbonization of the economy towards climate neutrality, while respecting the social challenges related to the transformation.
He is also responsible for contacts with the Wielkopolska Council of Thirty (WR30), representing economic self-government organizations, and since September 2020 he has been a member of the Wielkopolska Regional Council of the Future Industry. What is more, since August 2022, he has been a member of the Economic Area Development Council of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone.
In 2010–2018, he was a councillor of the Piła Town Council, chairing the municipal economy committee. A former entrepreneur, he belonged to the Business Centre Club and the Chamber of Commerce of Northern Wielkopolska. In 2014–2019, he served as a member of the management board and deputy chairman of the PRGOK Intermunicipal Association. Until 2018, he had been a member of the board of the “Krajna nad Notecią” LAG.
From 2013 to 2018, he served as the president of the National Association of Road Participants “Conscious Safe”. He also initiated many actions, including: the Civic Air Quality Monitoring Network in Northern Wielkopolska and numerous football and chess tournaments.
At the request of the Masovian Voivode, he was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit in 2014 for his contributions to road safety.

Prof. Marek Brzezanski is a researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology. Since 2013, he has been the director of the Institute of Motor Vehicles and Combustion Engines, and currently heads the Department of Motor Vehicles at the Krakow University of Technology. He completed scientific and research internships, among others, at Technische Universität Dresden and at Ruhr Universität Bochum in Germany.
His scientific and research interests are defined by three groups of problems:
- searching for solutions and systems that reduce the emission of toxic exhaust components from means of transport,
- use of hydrogen and waste industrial gases for energy purposes,
- research on new vehicle drive systems, including: hybrid and powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
He is a member of the management board of the Polish Scientific Society of Combustion Engines and sits on the Scientific Council of the BOSMAL Automotive Research and Development Institute in Bielsko-Biała.

For over 30 years he has been professionally involved in the maritime economy. A graduate of the Gdynia Maritime University, postgraduate studies at the University of Gdańsk (Transport and Logistics) and MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of Logistics in Poznań and the University of Applied Sciences Wildau. He gained practical experience as a merchant marine officer on ships of Polish and British shipowners, then in an agency representing the shipping line CMA-CGM. Since 2002 he has been representing the Port of Hamburg in Poland. He lectures at universities in Warsaw (including the Warsaw School of Economics and Kozminski University) and in other cities in the field of maritime container logistics.

A graduate of the National School of Public Administration. As an employee of the Ministry of Economy and then the Ministry of Energy, he was responsible for regulations concerning the fuel market, alternative fuels infrastructure and fuel quality. He was the head of the ministerial team for the quality of fuels and alternative fuels. He is the co-author of key documents for the development of electromobility in Poland: the Act of 11 January on electromobility and alternative fuels, the National Framework for the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure. Currently, as the director of the Department, he is responsible for the regulation of the electromobility market and for the Polish hydrogen strategy.

At CATF, Alex supports program-wide activities that contribute to the expansion of zero-carbon fuels to drive down emissions, primarily focused on Europe. Alex has several years of experience delivering intricate programs of work on climate and energy policy, working on themes covering global coal phase out, just transition, climate-trade policy, and consumption-based emissions accounting patterns.
Before joining CATF in 2023, she worked at E3G supporting the Fossil Fuel Transition program and Powering Past Coal Alliance on efforts to accelerate the coal-to-clean energy transition. She has also worked at the London School of Economics and at Climate Strategies delivering a range of climate and energy policy research projects. Alex holds a BSc in Geography from Loughborough University and an MSc in Climate Change from the University of Copenhagen. She is based in Prague, Czech Republic.

position of CEO of the association. He previously covered roles in the planning department of the
Foreign Office of Germany, at Infineon Technologies and was Member of the European Parliament
(2004-2014) inter alia in the ITRE Committee (Industry, Technology, Research and Energy) where he
could contribute to lay the cornerstone for the first and the second Joint Undertaking on hydrogen
and fuel cells. He was awarded Hydrogen Person of the Year at the World Hydrogen Awards 2022, “as
a major player promoting hydrogen in Europe and world-wide, accelerating collaboration and industry
development”.

He has more than 30-years’ experience in airport activities. He has worked for SEA’s Airport Infrastructural Development Dept., in charge with approval procedures and then has occupied the position of “Land-Side Development & Airport Accessibility” Manager. In the last 20 years he has been engaged in strong UE lobbying activity aimed at raising awareness of “Malpensa Airport’s development plans” that has finally secured more than 113€ million grants funding from the UE Programs (TEN-T, CEF, INTERREG, H2020, Horizon Europe). Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Sarawak's sixth Premier since January 2017, oversees Finance, New Economy, Natural Resources, Urban Development, and Energy. He's been in Sarawak's State Legislative Assembly since 1981, holding various portfolios. Under his leadership, Sarawak aims to double its economy to RM282 billion by 2030, with 6-8% annual growth per Sarawak’s Post COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030. His administration focuses on global trends like digitalization, green economy, and circular economy. Zohari advocates for sustainability and decarbonization, positioning Sarawak as a leader in green initiatives. The graduate (1979) of the faculty of the materials engineering and ceramics of the Stanisław Staszic University of Science and Technology in Cracow (technology of binding materials).Since the time of the University graduation he is associated with the college. He specializes in the subject matter associated with the technology of concrete, binding and building materials. The author and the co-author about 150 of academic publications. The co-author of 15 patents from which the considerable part was implemented for the industry. From 1992 he is connected with the Polish Cement Association, where he currently serves as executive director
He is representing Polish Cement Association in the European CEMBUREAU organization. He is the editor-in-chief of the quarterly "Construction Technologies Architecture" from 1998. He is a chairman of the organizing committee organising conferences of „Days of concrete”.
For the past eight years, he headed the Department of Building Materials Technology at WIMiC. Since September 2020 - Vice Dean of WIMiC for Cooperation. For many years involved in teaching and research activities of the Department - manager and contractor of many national and international projects. He has been passionate about urban transport since his childhood (he is involved with the Rail Vehicles Admirers Club) and has worked for MPK Poznań since 2001.
He graduated from the Poznań University of Economics and continued his education at a post-graduate course in Urban Public Transport at the Cracow University of Technology.
He has progressed through all levels of his career working initially in Traffic Engineering and then (since 2009) in Traffic Supervision, of which he became the manager. In May 2020, the Supervisory Board appointed him to the position of Member of the Management Board for Operations of MPK Poznań where he was responsible for the efficient work of the entire division having a direct impact on the functioning of public transport. A year later - on 26 April 2021 - he was appointed by the Supervisory Board as President of the Management Board of Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne in Poznań. He took up his new position from July 2021.
He is licensed to drive a tram and this is, he says, his passion and hobby.
He is married and has a son.

in the aviation sector.
He began his career in the largest manufacturing company of an electronics leader, Philips Lighting Poland, and in the container glass industry at Ardagh Glass. He then joined the capital group of window joinery manufacturer, Sokółka Okna i Drzwi, where he served as Vice President of the Board of Directors, overseeing sales, distribution and service in parallel with the position of President of the Distribution Company, where he successfully led the strategic development of sales of the products of the entire Capital Group.
Since 2010, he has been the chief architect of development policy for one of the region's largest airports, Poznań-Ławica, participating in the preparation of the airport's role as host of Euro 2012
and directing the largest expansion project in the airport's recent history. His commitment
in the creation of an "airport city" has resulted in numerous investments with partners such as Marriot, Audi, BP, Cirrus, Lotos, Apcoa and McDonald's.
It is now a major proponent of green initiatives, successfully introducing renewable energy projects at airports, including the installation of a nearly 4 MW photovoltaic farm at Poznań-Ławica Airport. Thanks to this investment, the airport has reduced its dependence on traditional energy sources, contributing to the decarbonization of the environment.
Responsible for the development of green hydrogen production systems at Poznań-Ławica Airport, combining a large-scale photovoltaic farm and an electrolyzer, contributing to the production of green hydrogen on an industrial scale. His work on the airport's green development strategy is an important step towards the sustainable transformation of the aviation sector, promoting innovative solutions in the field of renewable energy and green hydrogen technology, forming an integral part of Wielkopolska's long-term green development strategy, taking into account the decarbonization goals by 2030.

He began his career in the energy sector in 2009, developing business projects related to renewable gas production at Vattenfall Poland, and later at PGNiG Termika. He worked in a team responsible for the investment and business strategy of the company, as well as monitoring the development of the Polish energy market. During this time, he was responsible for developing business plans in the area of gas cogeneration and other renewable sources.
Since 2016, he has been working at GAZ-SYSTEM, where he started working on LNG projects related to expanding import capacity for the National Transmission System, including managing relations with future gas customers from both the energy and heat production sectors.
For several years he has been managing a team responsible for preparing thematic analyses, business recommendations and infrastructure development plans. For the past 3 years, he has been actively involved in preparing strategic assumptions regarding the national hydrogen infrastructure. He coordinates work of the Group 2 in the Hydrogen Agreement project aimed at "Transmission, Distribution, and Storage". He is also a member of the Coordinating Council for Hydrogen Economy at the Ministry of Climate and Environment. His extensive experience in energy and gas transmission significantly supports the Council. His familiarity with the subject matter and participation in the Hydrogen Agreement enables effective cooperation and the utilization of best practices and experiences.

Born in South Africa, Manuel Fonseca is PRF´s Business Developer for Europe, a Portuguese engineering company.
After studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra and Marketing & Communication in the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, Manuel Fonseca developed his activity in the gas downstream sector in Portugal and Europe, focused in LNG small scale, biogas and hydrogen, looking for solutions in partnership with clients.
Manuel believes that the fight against Climate Change takes place in national and international political decision-making bodies and in companies, but also in the daily lives of all citizens. Anyone can, and should, be an agent of change at home, on the street or at work, with small gestures that, multiplied by millions and millions of people, become a veritable wave of energy with a positive impact.

He is responsible for the implementation of research on high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks, both within the framework of EU-funded projects, as well as within the framework of ongoing cooperation with the largest tank manufacturers in the market.
In addition, he carries out work in the area of implementation of integrated SHM systems for Structural Health Monitoring in the field of energy, chemical, and automotive industries, including for composite high-pressure tanks (monitoring during manufacturing and operation, assessment of degradation of the composite structure and prediction of safe its operation time).
He has been involved in numerous EU and nationally funded projects for high-pressure tanks for the storage of gaseous fuels in automotive, stationary and transport applications.

Agata Godula-Jopek is Principal Specialist at DNV Energy Systems. She contributes her vast experience in numerous of DNVs activities, such as e. g. feasibility studies including technology selection and evaluation, Technical, Commercial and Regulatory Due Diligences and analyses, as well as benchmarking and market studies. She deals with complex projects with international teams in the Hydrogen Value Chain and technology as well as of contributing with her experience in a comprehensible manner to projects, studies, and strategies. Before joining DNV she was working 17 years as an expert for fuel cells and hydrogen storage at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. Recently she has been appointed as an expert for the European Hydrogen Sustainability and Circularity Panel (EHS&CP).

Prof. Dr. Krzysztof Kurek worked on high-energy physics experiments conducted with a muon beam at CERN in Geneva. He was a member of the Polish team in the LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. He is the author or co-author of more than 390 publications in international scientific journals. At the National Center for Nuclear Research, he was head of the Doctoral Program and Scientific Secretary of the NCBJ. Since October 25, 2015, he has been the director of NCBJ.

He is responsible for managing the portfolio of hydrogen projects in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Lithuania. Wojciech acts also as the Hydrogen Valleys Road Map Leader at Hydrogen Europe. He is the initiator and coordinator of the Amber Hydrogen Valley in Pomerania, which aims to hydrogenize seaports among its objectives.
In 2020-2022 Wojciech played a role of Project Manager for LOTOS Green H2 Project – 100 MW electrolyser project, producing renewable hydrogen for the Gdańsk refinery decarbonization needs. (in 2023 Project received EU notification under CEEAG for 158 EURm state aid support).
From January 2018 to March 2020 Wojciech was a Director of the Innovation Department at LOTOS Lab, where he was responsible for managing the area of innovations and co-developed a portfolio of innovative projects in the realm of alternative fuels, hydrogen and energy storage.

Dominika Niewierska is the director of Orlen S.A.'s Hydrogen Project Coordination and Settlement Department with over 20 years of experience in investment, development projects and strategic management in the energy and fuel sectors. He is a highly qualified expert who co-created the Orlen Group 2030 Hydrogen Strategy with its operationalisation. He oversees the implementation of the Orlen Group Hydrogen Programme together with the acquisition of external funding for strategic projects. He is the author of many multidisciplinary concepts and project ideas using hydrogen technologies, including the Orlen Group's flagship project called "Hydrogen Eagle", as well as "Clean Cities - Hydrogen mobility in Poland (Phase I&II))" and the Amber Hydrogen Valley. Author of numerous project initiatives in scope of power engineering, the gas industry, and the broad concept of management consulting. For over 10 years, he has been involved in offshore and hydrogen projects, mainly in the context of developing product markets, logistics, and applications. He has worked so far for the largest energy companies in Poland and abroad, like: ENERGA, ENEA, TAURON, PGE, PGNiG, EDF, Iberdrola, SPAC, RWE, CEZ. His involvement in major hydrogen projects in Poland concerning hydrogen distribution in gas pipelines, storage in salt caverns and renewable energy production and conversion to hydrogen were implemented. Mr Pelc is the author of a hydrogen roadmap for one of the biggest Polish companies.
Mr Pelc has a leading role as an initiator and creative leader of the Cluster of Hydrogen Technologies. Prof. Janusz Wojtkowiak conducts scientific and research activities in the disciplines of environmental engineering, mining and energy. He specialises in fluid mechanics and thermal technology. In 1981-1992, he worked in the Scientific and Research Team for Nuclear Power Plants at the Institute of Thermal Engineering and Combustion Engines of PP, and then, in the same Team, for 2 years at the Institute of Chemical Engineering of PP. Since 1994, he has been associated with the Institute of Environmental Engineering at PP, first as an assistant professor, then as an associate professor since 2002, and as a full professor since 2013. From 1996 to 1997, he was a fellow of the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation (KOSEF). As part of the fellowship, he worked for one year at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) - Laboratory of Theoretical Fluid Dynamics in Taejon, South Korea. He was Vice Dean from 2002 to 2008 and Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at PP from 2008 to 2016. Since 2020, he has been the director of the Institute of Environmental Engineering and Building Installations at PP. Author or co-author of more than 130 scientific articles, including 31 published in international journals.
