Air Products is one of the manufacturers and suppliers of industrial gases, present on the Polish market for more than 30 years. They were the first in Poland to conduct successful refuelling tests of a hydrogen bus in Jaworzno and a hydrogen shunting locomotive in Żmigród. The company aims to decarbonise industry and transport by investing in low-carbon hydrogen projects. They have been supplying hydrogen to a wide range of industries worldwide for more than 65 years, and have been supporting hydrogen solutions for mobility for more than 25 years.

Together with ACWA Power and NEOM, they created the NEOM Green Hydrogen Company joint venture. The JV is currently building the world's largest plant powered by renewable energy, which will produce up to 600 tonnes of low-carbon hydrogen per day in the form of green ammonia. This will be a cost-effective solution for a wide range of industrial and transport sectors around the world, with Air Products as the sole customer for the green ammonia.

The company is continually developing technologies using low-carbon hydrogen to help reduce the industry's carbon footprint. These include glass melting solutions, oxy-fuel technologies and hydrogen as a fuel for metal melting, protective atmospheres for metal heat treatment. They have designed, built and operate more than 250 hydrogen refuelling stations around the world including at Heathrow Airport in London, UK.
