Toyota is the world's largest car manufacturer and the Toyota brand is the most popular automotive brand. The company offers a range of more than 60 low- and zero-emission models based on four different technologies - full hybrids (HEVs), plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hydrogen electric vehicles (FCEVs). In 2022, Toyota's global sales of electrified cars exceeded 2.7 million vehicles. In total, Toyota has delivered more than 22 million low- or zero-emission cars to customers since 1997.
The Toyota Mirai, a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV), made its market debut in 2014 and the second generation of the model entered the Polish market in 2021.
